Steps to Placing
Newspaper Ads
|
- Select one of our ads by clicking
on one of the above categories.
- Order your ad on-line, fax,
or phone by clicking Place Order button on your left.
- Determine what church information
you want to include at the bottom of your ad.
- Create a sample of your newspaper
ad on either your computer or freehand.
- Measure the finished size of
your ad with your church information. Your ad can then be
proportionately enlarged or reduced based on ad rates and
your church's budget.
- Select the best local newspaper
to place your ad in.
- Send either the ad slick (camera
ready copy) or electronic file of your ad to the newspaper.
The newspaper will add your church name and information
at the bottom of the ad.
- Request a proof of the ad for
your approval.
- Make sure the newspaper returns
the ad so you can use it again.

All of our ads are available in an electronic
PDF format. For an additional $5.00 per ad, we will send you
a PDF copy of your ad on a CD-ROM along with the ad slick.
For a $25.00 fee, the working electronic files of our most
popular ads can be provided in Macintosh - QuarkXPress.

|
| Our
ad slicks are printed with a 65 line screen and can be reduced
no more than 40% or to approximately 4" x 5.25". When
calculating your ad rates, a 3-column ad usually requires about
27 column inches while a 2-column ad requires about 12 column
inches before adding the church's information. |

Licensing
- Buying an Ad Means Purchasing the Rights to Use an Ad
|
The Church Ad Project sells its ads with
a one year license attached to each ad. The year long
license begins from the date of sale. This is a non-exclusive
purchase and does not guarantee exclusive rights
in any particular zip code, area, or city. The customer
may choose to continue the license for another year by
purchasing another license. Exclusive territory licenses
are available for an additional fee.
It may be advantageous for a church to purchase multiple
ads because re-licensing of any ad will be at the original
invoiced rate. If a church buys ten ads, for example,
paying $31.50 for a $45.00 ad, then that is the rate for
re-licensing any or all of those ads. The Church Ad Project
sends its customers a re-licensing reminder notice prior
to each year's renewal date.
